Koshi Tappu Bird Watching Camp: – KTBWC was established in 2012 with lots of efforts from local resident, Naturalist Mr. Qurban Mansuri & who he is the founder of the camp. Camp has the facilities of 10 numbers of executive tented bedrooms, 2 numbers of executive cottage bedrooms and a big dining hall with a kitchen, cafe & bar and a seminar hall in a cottage type traditional house. It covers the total area of 1.5 acre. It had and has the separate twin washrooms with all the modern facilities. In the same year season it served a total numbers of 50 and above international guests along with caravan groups. National guests were also served in large numbers. It is located just 100 mtrs. away from the reserve headquarters. From the security point of view the Nepal Army has shared the same boundary with the reserve headquarter from the east which has been established for the reserve security and wildlife conservation. So there are no any worries regarding the security reasons. On the other hand the reserve area starts just 100 mtrs. ahead from the camp. Overall it is located as the sandwich between the reserve headquarter and the reserve. Hence it gives the feeling of 100% jungle stay.
